Vehicle PA Systems

We have been supplying custom designed PA systems based around a AM/FM radio, radio cassette or CD tuner to tour companies for many years. Reliability and ease of use have been our major design goals. We supply and fit these systems to buses, boats, four wheel drives, hovercraft and planes. They are designed to run on internal speakers and are not for outside broadcast use. Dealer enquiries welcome (please phone) on our PA systems.

Toyota Hiace Commuter
The Toyota Hiace Commuter comes with a double DIN AM/FM CD player.  We can add out PA system into this OEM unit. (Allow half a day for the conversion)

 

2418 (1 microphone) or 2428 (2 microphones) - 12 Volt CD / MP3 PA *
Combines a quality brand name tuner CD/ MP3 player with our PA extension unit. Accepts condenser or dynamic microphones. 2 mic version (2428) shown here.

 

2417 (1 microphone) or 2427 (2 microphones) - 12 Volt CD / Tuner PA *
Combines a brand name tuner CD player with our time proven PA extension unit. Accepts condenser or dynamic microphones. 1 mic version (2417) shown here.

 

2416 (1 microphone) or 2426 (2 microphones) - 12 Volt Radio Cassette PA *
Combines a brand name tuner / tape player with our PA extension unit. Accepts condenser or dynamic microphones. 1 mic version (2416) shown here.

* All 12 volt units Can be fitted to 24 volt vehicles with an optional 24V to 12V reducer.

All our PA systems are designed to allow background music and have separate volume controls for voice and music. The Cairns Sun Air & Sound designed PC boards use surface mount components to ensure reliable operation and are carefully designed for quality sound, unlike some other units on the market.

Optional PA System Accessories

401 - Condenser Headset Microphone
Very heavy duty for professional use. Allows a driver to use the PA system while keeping both hands on the wheel. Safer than a boom mic on bumpy roads. Suits all our PA systems. May require 1102 condenser mic adaptor for some other brands of PA.

 

1102 - Condenser Mic Adaptor
Allows our 401 headset microphones to be used with other brands of PA system that do not normally accept condenser microphones. Works in 12 volt and 24 volt vehicles. 

 We not only supply to the North Queensland area, we have customers across Australia and overseas.
